The images show a typical wheel getting welded. It has various areas of damage to both rims including penetration cracks that go all the way thro'. The wheel is also buckled. The crack we are repairing requires to be filled & strength added to both sides of the rim. We never carry out superficial cosmetic repairs using fillers or Smart Repairs, we weld and machine. We always add structural strength back into the wheel by welding. Our welding facilities cover MIG, TIG, ARC & Spot welding methods. We specialise in Aluminium, Magnesium, Mild Steel & Stainless Steel welding. We have over 30 years experience in welding and there is pretty much nothing we cant weld together using an appropriate method. 85% of our current welding jobs are for alloy or magnesium wheel repairs. We still get the odd steel wheel to repair tho'.
