Alloy Wheel Refurbishment & Alloy Wheel Repair - Terms & Conditions

Alloy Wheel Refurbishment & Alloy Wheel Repair Background AWR will do our best to meet the time-scales as given when the wheels were booked in, however, target time-scales are just that, ‘target’, AWR takes no responsibility for unforeseen delays that effect the process of the wheel repairs and refurbishment, some wheels require processes that take longer to achieve than a standard process. AWR recommends that new valves be fitted to each wheel when we are fitting tyres, Standard rubber valves are incorporated within the price. Alternative valves such as metal, chrome sleeved, hidden or small rubber can be installed at an additional charge and depending on stock We may have to order in especially which can delay the process. AWR reserve the right not to fit damaged or illegal tyres. Vehicles or wheels will not be released until payments are made in full. Payments must be made before we start work on wheels, delayed payment will push back the time- scale and start point, thereby we will have to fit the wheels in the que as and where we can, thus delaying the completion time. AWR charge a storage fee of £10 per day from day 8 if the wheels are not collected 7 calendar days after we have completed the work and contacted the customer to advise of the completion. AWR will endeavour to contact customers with respect of collecting the wheels, should however the wheels not be collected within 2 months after completion then we reserve the right to sell the wheels in order to recover the costs incurred to us. Structurally damaged wheels repaired by AWR are not covered under our warranty, it is solely the customers responsibility to drive with repaired wheels. Powder coated wheels - All of our colour coated wheels will come with a 12 month warranty against defect, subject to the damage not having occurred as a result of driver damage or corrosive cleaners which will dull the lacquer over time. AWR have the final say in determination of defects. If after 6 months the lacquer appears to have dulled and we can not determine the route cause, then we will re coat the wheel for 50% of the total cost, inclusive of tyre removal & balancing charges which may apply. AWR require that if an unsatisfactory finish occurs then we must be allowed to re coat the wheel at our expense. If due to the wheel design, base metals or unforeseen problems we can not subsequently redress the initial quality of the finish then the customer must accept that this is the best that we can do, no refund shall be provided in part or whole. Two Piece wheels (Split rims) - A 12 month warranty is offered on the wheel bolts coming loose, however no warranty is offered on the bolts themselves unless new bolts have been supplied by AWR. Split rim bolts that AWR remove may break on removal for whatever reason, the customer will be notified and new bolt kits will be required for each bolt as we will have to drill and re-thread, currently the cost is £8 per standard bolt, special bolts may cost more. Polished Wheels - Wheel Parts - No Warranty is offered on any polished part as the duration of the finish is subject entirely on how well they are maintained and cleaned on a regular basis and not suitable for everyday use. AWR reserves the right to revise and amend these terms from time to time. You will be subject to the terms in force at the time of the booking www.AlloyWheelRepairs.net is wholly owned by Ace Performance Cars and shall be referred to as AWR within these terms and conditions. General All wheels requiring any form of structural repair are deemed to have no inherent value, AWR will be adding value by the repair and refurbishment processes. AWR endeavours to repair / refurbish all wheels to the best of our ability, we can not be responsible for unforeseen problems such as poor casting, hidden problems generally. these problems may only become evident when the existing wheel finish is stripped back to the base metal, if we believe that the wheel can not achieve a finish as expected then we will contact the customer and discuss any options and possibly other work we may have to undertake to remedy the problem. AWR “Standard” finish is based on viewing the completed wheel with the naked eye whilst standing upright from a distance of not less than 4 feet away from the wheel, as viewed normally on a car. Should the customer require a finish “as new” or show finish, then this must be accounted for based on a time charge within the pricing structure as (COR) cost of repair, Declared at quotation time. When AWR repairs structurally damaged wheels, we may leave the odd machine mark which will be visible on close inspection, this is usually on the inner rear part of the wheel and will not effect the front face, Standard finish applies. When AWR repairs structurally damaged wheels on the inner rim only, we apply a black sealer to the inner rear area in order to protect the bare metal after we have machined the wheel, if the customer does not want this, then we must refinish the wheel, thus an additional cost added to the repair. AWR reserves the right to refuse to complete any refurbishment work if any of the wheels received require structural repair work before refurbishment. We will never refurbish a wheel that requires any form of structural repair work, i.e. bent, buckled or twisted, the repair work must be carried out first. Customers should be aware that certain high gloss finishes show blemishes more readily, such as black, chrome or bright silver, we can not guarantee to make your wheels perfect but we will ensure that there is a significant improvement. Should a customer request an as new finish or show wheels, then an additional charge will apply, this will be calculated on an hourly basis plus any materials required. www.AlloyWheelRepairs.net Web Design 2012 ALLOY WHEEL REFURBISHMENT & ALLOY WHEEL REPAIR SPECIALIST Copyright Ace Performance Cars - Alloy Wheel Refurbishment & Alloy Wheel Repair Specialist
