Our large grit blast cabinet is a Hodge Clemco and is a fully sealed pressurised system that can more than cope with our increasing demand. We can blast anything that fits into the cabinet. Mostly we are blasting wheels at the moment |

As you can see, the cabinet can house multiple items at once, thus reducing the amount of times we require to open the door which de-pressures the system. We can easily fit 4x17" wheels at once. The internal dimensions are 4x4x4 ft |

The blast cabinet requires a large volume of grit which is dispensed from the pot, the system is auto recirculating and we can control the volume of air & grit seperately as required using control valves. |

The workshop blast cabinet & the entire garage gets compressed air from our Compair Hydrovane compressor which is buffered by our large reciever tank. The blast cabinet is supplied first by a 2" (50mm) dia pipe then the rest of the garage thereafter. The compressor is very quiet when in operation and can supply more than enough compressed air. Output of 150 cfm is automated by the compressor dependant on air usage. The pipework is pressurised to 11 bar. |
